After countless photos were deleted from my phone, there was no getting away from the fact my face was changing and that I needed to do something about it. Having worked in the beauty industry most of my working life (makeup artist on shows, magazine and TV), I was always very critical about myself. Think it came with the territory.
I looked into Botox and fillers but it wasn’t for me. After changing my diet and taken regular supplements and trying to live a relatively healthy lifestyle. It felt a bit hypocritical.
Anyway, I looked into many things, skincare (which I follow), collagen drinks and I came across Face yoga. I practiced daily about 5 years ago and it put me on my new path. After teaching media makeup (10 years) and beauty workshops, I learnt Face yoga and Gua Sha which I now teach. The feedback is phenomenal and the results speak for themselves.
I want to share what I have learnt.
I have been in the beauty industry for 35 years. I started on the beauty counter many years ago with No 7. I then eventually ended up being a Business Manager in Harrods and make up Artist in Harvey Nichols working with VIPs and special events. I have worked in fashion, magazines, shows and short films. I have been fortunate to work with a few celebrities along the way. Eventually my path lead me to teaching media make up for 10 years, which I thoroughly enjoyed, sharing my passion of makeup with my young ambitions students.
I then felt passionate about helping women to look good who were of a certain age, maybe lost confidence like myself and wanted to know ways to feel better.
My road lead me to Face yoga, I qualified as a teacher trainer of Face yoga and Gua Sha which I absolutely love and am very passionate about.
I teach in Cambridge as well as locally in south Cambridgeshire.
